At St. Andrew’s Church School we believe that sharing a prayer is a great way to focus the power of positive thought and ask for the blessing of God.  Two of the prayers that we share regularly are our School Prayer and the Lord’s Prayer.

Our School Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for offering us life in all its fullness, 

for being with everyone in our school community,

and for showing us how to care for one another.

Amen

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name.

Your Kingdom come,

your will be done,

on earth as in heaven

Give us today our daily bread.

Forgive us our sins,

as we forgive those who sin against us.

Lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For the kingdom, the power and the glory

are yours.

Now and for ever.

Amen
