We are very lucky to have our own school chaplain, Mrs Louise Jarmain who helps to look after our pupil chaplains.

Each year, Rev. Mike Haslam from the Diocese of Baths & Wells, comes to talk to our year five pupils about becoming a pupil chaplain. The pupils then complete an application and are appointed based on their application. 

The pupil chaplains are then commissioned as part of the Welcome Service in September/October. As part of this, they are given a a silver cross pin badge to indicate their role. 

Over the course of the year, they help to support and guide the rest of the pupil community and the school chaplain, lead acts of worship and have opportunities to work with pupil chaplains from other schools.

They are being mentored by some of last years chaplains to help them learn about their role.
